My name is Eri Attebery and I am a breast cancer survivor.
I was diagnosed in October of 2007 and had a mastectomy with breast reconstruction a month later.
I discovered my cancer at a very early stage so I was spared having to go through chemotherapy, but many of my fellow survivors in my support group were not so lucky and had to suffer through chemo as well.
This disease has had a major impact on our family. My husband's mother was also a two time breast cancer survivor before she passed away from leukemia in 2001.
I want to do all that I can to raise awareness about breast cancer and help find a cure to this disease.
To help raise awareness, during the month of October I am giving free access to four of my breast cancer awareness jewelry making videos in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
There are two beginner level videos, one intermediate video, and one advanced video. The advanced video shows how to make a pink ribbon puffy heart.
I would be very honored if you would make any or all of these jewelry pieces and wear them or give to others to wear to help raise awareness.
Also, my husband and I are participating in the Philadelphia 3 day walk for breast cancer this month.
As part of that we are raising funds to help with breast cancer research. If you would be interested in supporting us with a donation, I have put a donation button at the bottom of this page. A donation is not required to view the videos, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Eri Attebery
