How to Make Breast Cancer Awareness Jewelry
Posted by Eri
October is breast cancer awareness month.
I am a breast cancer survivor so this month has special meaning to me.
I want to do all I can to help raise awareness about breast cancer and help raise funds to eventually cure this disease.
To that end, my husband and I are participating in the Philadelphia 3 Day walk for breast cancer this month.
Breast cancer survivors and thousands of their supporters will walk about 20 miles a day for three days straight to help raise awareness and to raise money for the cause.
60 miles is such a long way that I hope you will be thinking about me and praying for me. I will need it!
The other way I want to give back this month is to offer my breast cancer awareness jewelry video tutorials for free viewing until the end of October.
I would be so grateful if you could make and wear pink ribbon jewelry as often as you can this month.
Every little bit of awareness helps.
There are four videos I have for you to watch.
Two of these beading videos are beginner level and show how to make a 3 Day walk charm necklace and a pair of pink ribbon earrings.
One video is an intermediate level video showing how to make a pink ribbon broach which you can wear as a pink ribbon pin.
The fourth video is an advanced level video showing how to make a pink ribbon puffy heart.
I hope you will enjoy them all, and thank you so much for your support.

Hi Corra!
Haven’t spoken with you in a long time. I hope you are well. I’m glad you like the video. I’m sure with your wire wrapping talent you can create some beautiful breast cancer awareness jewelry as well.
Take care,

HI
My husband is fighting against his 6th cancer –since September 1998…
All my prayers are with you – we need so much of them I know.
Love to watch your video. Do you have written instructions, as I’m new in beading, I cannot follow by just watching the video. I would like to create some of the beautiful puffed heart also and give them to friends who are fighting breast cancer.
Thanks in advance.

Cleopatra,
Thank you so much for your comments. I really appreciate them. Thank you for wearing the awareness pin. Isn’t it nice how our jewelry making craft can be used to support the causes we believe in?
Thanks.

Hi
I am interested in purchasing the video as well as written instructions for the puffed hearts. I am in remission for mantle-cell lymphoma and would like to make the puffed heart only in a green ribbon. This is the color for lymphoma. Thaks so much for your help. Keep well Lorraine
