Beading Pattern: Pink Ribbon Puffy Heart
Posted by Eri
I love the challenge of the Puffy Heart pattern.
Being able to create this heart seems to me kind of a “right of passage” for bead weaving.
Once you’ve mastered this bead pattern, you feel like you can take on most anything.
Now there is a new beading pattern which gives the puffy heart even more special meaning.
I created a video that shows how to use pink Swarovski crystal beads to weave the breast cancer awareness pink ribbon right into the heart.
By doing this not only can you create the beautiful crystal puffy heart, you can also show solidarity with women and men who have been affected by breast cancer.
As a breast cancer survivor, it means so much to me when I can combine my love of jewelry making with support for such an important cause.
On the video I show two different ways to turn your beaded heart into a necklace.
One way uses a bail and chain, the other uses beading chain that feeds right through the heart itself.
Here is a preview of the video class: Pink Ribbon Puffy Heart Preview Video
Enjoy!

As a subscriber to your website videos, I too am also a breast cancer survivor. When I saw the pattern for the Pink Ribbon Puffy Heart I was so thrilled! You have some of the most adorable patterns but I think this is just the greatest! I am going to make it very soon and wear it to the “Relay For Life” an event that is coming up in a few months. I thank you for all of your wonderful creations…they fill alot of my days that would be very long otherwise. You are a great soul!

Rose,
Thank you so much for your kind comments.
And thank you for taking part in the Relay for Life.
I did the 3-day walk in Philadelphia last October and am planning on doing it again this year.
It’s wonderful to see how many people are doing so much to support Breast Cancer Awareness!

To Whom this may concern, I love the pink ribbon crystal heart. I realize you have the video but it was alittle to fast for me I was wondering is there a pattern for this beautiful heart? I would love to make it for a survior. Sincerely Linda

Hi Linda.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a written pattern to the pink ribbon puffy heart. On the video, I recommend using the pause button and the rewind button to go back and watch parts that seemed a little fast for you. Let me know if that works.

Hi Linda.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a written pattern for this design, only a video. We do have options other than watching online. If you have a DVD player for your TV you can get the DVD version of this beading video and watch on TV. If you are interested in that here is a link to the DVD:
